"Goddess: Claiming My Divinity" is a self-portrait and a declaration of reclamation—of personal power, intuition, and sovereignty. It reflects a journey inward to rediscover self-love and self-acceptance, allowing that inner radiance to finally manifest outward. The work draws inspiration from Queen Nefertiti, whose name means “the beautiful one has come.” Her reign alongside Pharaoh Akhenaten marked Egypt’s Golden Era during the 18th Dynasty—a time of profound artistic and spiritual transformation as the people turned their worship toward Aten, the Sun. In this piece, I sought to embody that same luminous essence—the gold, the light, and the warmth of the Sun—as a symbol of awakening, empowerment, and divine feminine rebirth.
