Finding Nirvana: Earth Angel

"Finding Nirvana: Earth Angel" carries a dual meaning. On one side, it’s a nod to my generation—the Xennials—those of us who grew up on the edge of Gen X and the rise of the Millennials. The band Nirvana was the raw, unapologetic soundtrack to our youth, giving voice to a generation shaped by independence, rebellion, and transition. We were the latch-key kids of analog childhoods, coming of age in the dawn of the digital era. On the deeper side, this piece is a reflection of my spiritual journey—a representation of myself as an Earth Angel. Through healing and introspection, I’ve revisited the inner stories that shape who I am. Time and again, people have shared that I’ve been their “angel”—whether through acts of courage, compassion, or simply the right words at the right time. This work honors that balance between the human and the divine—the grunge and the grace—the harmony of finding Nirvana here on Earth.
